So High In Time

My heart was pounding, step by step I walk up the ladder. My fears seem to be crawling up my throat and then I wait it’s time. I step onto the rope help I’m going to fall.
The ropes are shaking wait that’s me. My heart was trembling with fear I don’t think I’ve ever felt so scared in my life.

I saw my friend Lauren on the other side of the course. I heard cheering from down below I looked down big mistake, suddenly my heart was frozen with fear.

Lavinia unhooked me and put me onto the next course since I couldn’t reach and that sucked. Getting more and more confident I step onto the next course but then right in front of me was one of the last courses the vines, then I lost my grip I fell luckily I had that harness on I was just hanging in mid air. Then I started to walk on the rope trying to keep my balance gripping tightly to the vines slowly I walk to little Johnny the flying fox it’s waiting for me I step onto the board little Johnny takes off my harness, I looked forward I see my friend Lauren at the end of the flying fox.

Then little Johnny hooked me onto the flying fox I don’t want to do this I can’t do this I screamed I looked at the end of the flying fox it grew bigger and bigger I got smaller and smaller then out of the blue little Johnny pushed me ah I screamed, then the length got smaller I felt like I was a bird and then I landed it was amazing.

I can’t wait until next year but I will never forget how amazing this camp was it was truly the best camp ever.
