There I was standing with the waiting rope.
The instructor said I was ready to go so I took a big breath. But I said no because I wasn't hooked on properly.
He said that as a joke. So he hooked me on and I was ready.
My legs were stiff like rocks. My hands were shaking like jelly.
I set off, running as fast as a snail. As you know snails are really slow. So I ran a tiny bit faster. Faster and faster I went every second. Soon I was sprinting,
then I was in the air flying.
BANG! I was already at the end of the flying fox. The rope tightened. I was stuck the rope was caught .
under a small log . There I was shaking and dangling about.
Cameron came down and unhooked it. I was really happy to be on land again.
When we started the flying fox, I was really scared but at the end I actually had a heap of fun like most of the other people. But I think my turn was the freakiest.
At the end I was really sad because I really wanted a third go but there was no time.
I thought that day was the best day at camp.
I think the flying fox is awesome!
