Bridge Fun

“Everybody run the bus is here.”
It’s time for us to go for the D2P TRIP with some other students. When we reached there we saw diggers and other machines. Our guides were Hannah and Stacey. Hannah was the project manager for the D2P (the Boss). Stacey is the public relation minister.

Hannah told us that they are making a round about and they will lower the State Highway 6m near Petone. I also learnt that it is not an easy job to do and it also costs about seventy to eighty million dollars. They need about three hundred workers. We played in the mud and learnt that to make the bridge,they need a lot of materials and it will be finished hopefully in one and a half years which will be in 2010. The other thing that I learnt was when they built the bridge near Korokoro, they found a lot of dead bodies while they were digging and they are expecting to find more dead bodies.
